I am flying home today to be with my brother. Obviously, I do not know when/if I will continue the trip so it is goodbye for now.

Dear Steve, Reading and listening to your trip log has become part of my daily routine: an enjoyable experience for me and, I’m sure, for many others. But I’m very sorry about your brother’s illness. I hope he recovers and that you will be able to return to your marathon.
