I ended the trip today in the same way as I started, a scenic journey through West Virginia. I did not know what to expect when I set off from Bridgeport, WV east along Route 50 but It turned out to be another scenic ride through the Appalachians just like my first three days of the trip. The weather co-operated for the most part and there was little traffic before entering the Northern Virginia suburbs so the driving was fun. I decided to end the road video in Winchester, VA just 20 miles (32 km) north of where I started. No photos today but I marked the best part of the journey on the map if you want to watch the video.
Thank you to everyone who kept me company by reading and/or commenting.
And thank you for sharing all your travels and experiences with us. Love, Kusum
Glad to know that you’re in the home stretch! I’ve driven solo along the same route, lots of hairpin turns as I recall which made it harder to watch the scenery. Congratulations for your successful trip.
I seem to remember you were thinking of driving Route 50 across the country. I can definitely say the sections I have driven have been enjoyable.
Another enjoyable ride following your travels. Thank you for sharing.
You are a wonderful travel guide. I tend to think that I know this country fairly well, but you consistently prove me deficient. You find so many interesting, even exciting, things to see and do all along your routes. Great journeys together!
Thank you so much, glad you find it interesting. I enjoy planning trips and trying to find different places to visit. If I had not been a teacher I think I would have enjoyed being a travel agent 🙂
