Posts about my upcoming Perimeter Road Trip of the U.S.A will be arriving shortly. The formal goal is to be able to say at the end of the trip “I have been within 100 miles of every point on the border of the lower 48 States.” In reality, I will be much closer than 100 miles most of the time and intend to stay within 50 miles except for a few spots.

As the trip progresses I expect to  update the blog daily but, I’m sure, there will be times when I am too tired, out too late, have technical issues or stay at a hotel with poor/no Internet. If you find the posts interesting please subscribe to receive an email when I do post.

The map shows the area that is 100 miles inside the US border but my trip will also include short sections on the Canadian side of the northern border.
