Map and road video – Margaree, NS to Charlottetown, PE
Little to report today as it was purely driving but I had to create a post so I can link to the map.
The journey, from Margaree on Cape Breton Island to Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island was made more pleasant by the free ferry crossing which offered a break from driving. The shorelines seen from the ferry were low and not photogenic so I’ve added a couple of lighthouse photos, one at each end of the crossing.
It will probably be a quick visit to the province as I want to spend a little time on the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick and New England’s leaves are starting to become colorful.
The tiny Caribou Lighthouse, built in 1971, guarding the ferry terminal in Nova Scotia.
and the Wood Islands Lighthouse, which dates from 1902, and protects the harbour on the Prince Edward Island side.
Very petty!
I meant pretty, not at all petty!
Thanks for clarifying 🙂
