Map and road video – Ste. Anne-des-Monts to Percé, QC

After driving about 100 km this morning I had high hopes that this was going to be one of those special days where something wonderful awaits around every curve. The coastal views were long and largely unobstructed and the mountains ensured that there were elevated locations to provide a viewing platform. Unfortunately, the coastal views became less common and it did not turn out to be one of those special days but it was very good.

The whole day was spent driving as it was raining when I came to the place I thought I would take a hike in Forillon National Park. Despite intermittent rain throughout the day it was the only time the weather really interfered and it did not spoil the day.

My first photo stop of the day was very promising.Gaspe First stop

  1. Beautiful rocks and coastal towns.
After Florence remnants passed through, gorgeous blue skies are back here in the DMV.
