Those who know me know how little I like beaches and water so the small communities along the Florida gulf coast held little interest for me. This meant that today was all driving so I could get to the larger cities in central and southern Florida. The route I traveled was designated scenic in some places but, for much of the way, I was driving down a tunnel of trees and there was little to see. The weather was great and, after seven hours of easy driving, I ended up in Tampa for the night.
The map/video is here and the most scenic area is seen by clicking on the first white marker on the map. No photos were taken.
