Map and road video – Halifax to Sydney, NS

Today was purely a driving day as I headed 248 miles north to Sydney, NS on Cape Breton Island. There were no scenic routes in the area and nothing along the way that interested me enough to stop. The only photo opportunity I had considered was at Cape George lighthouse but, when I arrived at the exit, there were low clouds and rain.

After four days of gray I took this photo from the back of my Sydney hotel just for the blue sky and water.
