Instead I had toast for breakfast and hung around in my hotel room until 11 o&#8217;clock when I had to check out. I then drove directly to my destination, an inn in Hardraw within the <em>Yorkshire Dales National Park<\/em>, stopping only for lunch to top up my meagre breakfast. I was feeling fine by the time I arrived and had enjoyed some scenic driving during the second half of my journey. In fact, the last few miles, driving over <em>Buttertubs Pass<\/em>, was as scenic as anywhere I have been on this trip.
