The highlight of the byway is the Elk and Bison Prairie but, when I arrived this is what I found.<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3926\" src=\"http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Pratie-Closed.jpg\" alt=\"Pratie Closed\" width=\"760\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Pratie-Closed.jpg 760w, http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Pratie-Closed-300x175.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/>The trials of traveling early in he season.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3925\" src=\"http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Cedar-Lake.jpg\" alt=\"Cedar Lake\" width=\"760\" height=\"539\" srcset=\"http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Cedar-Lake.jpg 760w, http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Cedar-Lake-300x213.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/>I soon found a trail to walk but, after all the rain, it became waterlogged and I turned back.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3924\" src=\"http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Bison-Range.jpg\" alt=\"Bison Range\" width=\"760\" height=\"513\" srcset=\"http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Bison-Range.jpg 760w, http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Bison-Range-300x203.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/>However, I was rewarded a bit further down the road as I came across the Bison Range. Not sure where the elk are but there were plenty of bison.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3927\" src=\"http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Tom-Arrives.jpg\" alt=\"Tom Arrives\" width=\"760\" height=\"574\" srcset=\"http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Tom-Arrives.jpg 760w, http:\/\/relativerest.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Tom-Arrives-300x227.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/>Tom has just arrived and is enjoying a snack and a coffee as I write.<\/p>\n<p>This will be the final post for this trip as we will not be doing any sightseeing together.
